Tekst piosenki: I feel so bad I've got a worried mind I'm so lonesome all the time Since I left my baby behind on Blue Bayou Saving nickels, saving dimes, working 'till the sun don't shine Looking forward to happier times on Blue Bayou I'm going back some day come what may to Blue Bayou Where you sleep all day and the catfish play on Blue Bayou All those fishing boats with their sails afloat If I could only see That familiar sunrise through sleepy eyes, how happy I'd be Go to see my baby again And to be with some of my friends Maybe I'd be happy then on Blue Bayou I'm going back some day, gonna stay on Blue Bayou Where the folks are fine and the world is mine on Blue Bayou Oh, that girl of mine by my side the silver moon and the evening tide Oh, some sweet day gonna take away this hurtin' inside I'll never be blue, my dreams come true on Blue Bayou Tłumaczenie: BLUE BAYOU (Błękitne Zalewisko) Jest mi tak źle, mam wielkie zmartwienia Jestem tak samotny cały czas od chwili opuszczenia mojej ukochanej w Blue Bayou Oszczędzając pięć groszy tu, dziesięć tam, pracując aż słońce nie świeci Marząc o szczęśliwszych czasach na Blue Bayou Wrócę kiedyś niezależnie co będzie do Blue Bayou Gdzie można spać cały dzień i sumy się bawią na Blue Bayou I te wszystkie łódki rybackie z żaglami na wodzie, o gdybym tylko mógł zobaczyć Ten znajomy wschod przez zaspane oczy, o jak szczęśliwym mógłbym być Pójść żeby zobaczyć moją kochaną ponownie I być z niektórymi moimi przyjaciółmi Może byłbym szczęśliwym wtedy na Blue Bayou Wrócę w jakiś dzień, pozostanę na Blue Bayou Gdzie ludzie są w porządku, i świat jest mój na Blue Bayou O, ta dziewczyna moja obok mnie, srebrny księżyc i przypływ wieczorny O, w jakiś słodki dzień odejmę ten ból ze środka Nigdy nie będę smutny, moje marzenia się spełnią na Blue Bayou "Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel)" is a 1960 song written by Roy Orbison and Joe Melson. Orbison's recording of the song, produced by Fred Foster for Monument Records, was the first major hit for the singer. It was described by The New York Times as expressing "a clenched, driven urgency". Released as a 45 rpm single by Monument Records in May 1960, "Only the Lonely" went to No. 2 on the United States Billboard pop music charts on 25 July 1960 (blocked by Brenda Lee's "I'm Sorry") and No. 14 on the Billboard R&B charts. "Only the Lonely" reached Number One in the United Kingdom, a position it achieved on 20 October 1960, staying there for two weeks (out of a total of 24 weeks spent on the UK singles chart from 28 July 1960). According to "The Authorized Roy Orbison," "Only the Lonely" was the longest charting single of Orbison's career. Personnel on the original recording included Orbison's drummer Larry Parks, plus Nashville's regulars, Floyd Cramer on piano, Bob Moore on bass, and Hank Garland and Harold Bradley on guitars, Joe Melson and the Anita Kerr Singers on backing vocals. Drummer Buddy Harman played on the rest of the songs on the session. popmusic sixties Only the lonely (are.
